From October to March, the water tends to be choppier, with wave heights reaching up to 2 meters, providing an exciting playground for experienced riders. The beach features a sandy bottom with some rocky areas near the shore, so riders should be cautious during low tide. The wind generally starts to pick up around mid-morning, peaking between 11 AM and 3 PM, when it becomes most reliable. Early mornings and late afternoons tend to have lighter winds, which are more suitable for beginners or those preferring a more relaxed session.

Once at Ganh Dua, getting around is relatively easy, with motorbikes being the preferred mode of transportation for short distances. Motorbike rentals are available near the beach, providing kitesurfers with the flexibility to explore the surrounding areas.
