Around the Kiteboarding Spot Boca Grandi
In the bay, there are little waves from 0.5 to 1 meter. If you cross the reef upwind, you will find bigger waves from 1 to 2 meters. Boca Grandi on the southeast corner offers the bluest waters on the island, especially when viewed from the elevated sand dunes that provided the perfect aspect for shooting. There’s no one waiting around to rescue you, so you need to be proficient, but again this place doesn’t get crowded.

If you stay in ‘Noord’, it is a 50-minute drive to Boca Grandi. You can park your car on the road and walk to the spot, but it is recommended to rent a 4x4 vehicle to drive on the beach right to the waterfront.
The closest building to the spot is the prison. Not sure how this information is helpful, just want to indicate that you might not want to try and go buy drinks and sun cream there.
