Steady thermal winds range between 15 to 25 knots, the best season is from September to May, during summer (January to March) temperatures may rise all the way to 27 Celsius but dont be fooled, in front of the peruvian coast flows the humboldt current, known as one of the coldest submarine currents in the world, packing a full wetsuit is always recomended.

To get to Paracas you can fly to Lima, from there, there are a variety of buses that will take you 200 km south straight to Paracas downtown, once you are there everything is at walking distance but you can always take one of the colorful tuk-tuks that will take you around for a cheap price.
