Epic wave spot in north Peru
Located in northern Pueru, Pacasmayo is well known among kitesurfers for having some of the longest ridable waves in the world, its legendary left can go as far as 1.5 kilometers of pure fun of wave riding in optimum conditions. Altough the waves are long and realivly easy to deal with, this location is for intermediate-advanced riders, particulary wave riders, the wind direction and wave size demand a great deal of experience and control.

The best season in Pacasmayo is from April to October when wind blows from 12 to 22 Knots, with winds coming from the south (side to side off-shore) is the ideal spot for wave riding

Pacasmayo is accessible via road from major cities like Trujillo or Chiclayo. The town is approximately 2 kilometers from the main kitesurfing spot, El Faro, which is easily reachable by local transport or a short drive. It is possible to take a direct bus from Lima with prices ranging from 12$ to 45$ usd it takes around 10 hours to cover the 670 km from place to place.
