It’s possible to score good sessions in May and October as well but it can be a bit more of a gamble, and be a bit lighter.The first 100m or so are shallow, so perfect for beginners and reasonably flat for freestyle kitesurfers, with some small chop to deal with on takeoff and landing. The air temperature gets up to around 30 degrees celsius at the height of summer with the water a comfortable 22 degrees celsius. So from June to August you shouldn’t need a wetsuit, but at either end of the season a shorty or a thin full length wetsuit will be necessary.
