Porto Pollo

Porto Pollo offers a large sandy bay for kitesurfing which has pretty flat water, works in any wind direction and is perfect for anyone from total beginners up to pro kitesurfers. Porto Pollo Kitesurfing wind conditions

July to September is peak season in Porto Pollo with the best chance of scoring epic kitesurfing conditions, but as mentioned any time from April to October can work really well. The wind normally blows cross or cross onshore here, and you can expect somewhere between 15 and 30 knots depending on the day. Due to the thermal nature of the wind and a venturi effect at Porto Pollo you can’t always rely on the forecast for an accurate picture, and it’s often more on the day than the forecast suggested. If in doubt the best bet is to reach out to one of the local kite schools and they can give you more detailed local information.
