Wind speeds are generally moderate, offering steady power for freeride, freestyle, and foil sessions. The wind is most dependable from April to September, with the highest reliability during sunny, stable weather.

Occasionally, Gera Lario experiences the Tivano, a northerly wind that can blow in the morning, bringing cross-shore or slightly offshore conditions. The Tivano is usually lighter and less predictable than the Breva, and sessions under this wind require greater attention to safety and local weather changes.
