The wind conditions in Little Bonaire are ideal for kitesurfing, particularly between May and August when the winds are historically strongest. Kitesurfers can expect winds ranging from 15 to 25 knots for most of the year, providing ample opportunities for both beginners and experienced riders. From September to December, the winds are slightly gentler, ranging between 12 and 18 knots. The steady winds are complemented by the island's flat, shallow waters near the shore, making it an excellent spot for learning and practicing new techniques.
In terms of water conditions, the sea around Little Bonaire can be choppy, with small waves and ramps on certain days. This variation in sea conditions adds an extra layer of challenge and excitement for kitesurfers. Additionally, the offshore winds, while providing steady conditions, require kitesurfers to be cautious and prepared, especially regarding safety and the ability to return to shore

Access to Little Bonaire is primarily via boat from the main island of Bonaire.
Alternatively you can kitesurf from mainland to Little Bonaire. It is roughly 1km away and just downwind.

Notice
The island is downwind from Bonaire. Kiting to Little Bonaire should be no problem, but getting back is upwind. Further, if you are a beginner and you miss the island (however this is possible) you end up in the ocean. This is why I removed the beginner tag.
